The government of Samoa has decided to move away from the airline Virgin Samoa and create its own intermodal operations. It will re-launch its international services initially with the support of Fiji Airways. The airline is planning to revamp itself and planning to launch new services to destinations like Tonga, Fiji, and Tokelau.

Since Apia’s Fagali’i airport can now be used by smaller aircraft only, Samoa Airways operates out of the larger Faleolo International.

Business Class

Business class customers get complimentary access to the Business lounge with facilities like Private restrooms, shower facilities, and unlimited free WiFi. There are 16 business seats on the 737-800 arranged in 2×2 configuration. For flights between Samoa and American Samoa, check-in opens 1 hour before the scheduled departure and closes 60 minutes before the departure.
